FT Calder Pinhooks Bring 60% Over Purchase Price

Horses specifically selected by Hidden Brook last September for re-sale as two-year-olds in training brought 60% over their purchase price at the 2010 Fasig-Tipton Calder Juvenile Sale. The three two-year-olds, all owned by Paul Pompa Jr. and consigned by Scanlon Training Center, sold for $1,000,000, compared with a yearling purchase price of $625,000. The horses' average price of $333,333 was 30% higher than the overall sale average of $257,473.

Sold for $400,000 to Paul Cole

Purchased for $175,000 at KeeSep

 

Hip 79 - Johannesburg colt

Sold for $350,000 to Vision Racing 2010 LLC

Purchased for $270,000 at KeeSep

 

Hip 59 - Giacomo colt

Sold for $250,000 to E Stable

Purchased for $180,000 at KeeSep
