Hidden Brook Farm capped off a highly successful OBS April Two-Year-Old in Training sale with a Blame filly commanding a final bid of $550,000.
Selling as Hip #883, the filly is out of multiple Stakes producer Romantic Frolic and is the highest-priced juvenile filly by Blame ever sold. She was purchased by C R K Stable LLC after breezing a sparkling quarter mile in :21.1.
Hidden Brook sold four other hips at the sale, all for six figures, including a $400,000 Into Mischief filly, who was also purchased by C R K Stable LLC.
The five hips sold by Hidden Brook averaged $307,000, well over the sale average of $130,000. It´s the second year in a row that Hidden Brook has exceeded the sale average and Hidden Brook´s average price sold since 2015 is 70% higher than the sale average.
