Notary used a stalk and pounce trip to score in the $75,000 Outbond Ike Stakes, the Friday feature at Hawthorne Racecourse in Chicago.

The son of Street Sense is out of the Tabasco Cat daughter Ellesmere and was bred by John Gardiner and Frank McEntee. He´s the latest black type winner born and raised at Hidden Brook Farm in Paris, Kentucky. He was also sold by Hidden Brook at the 2018 Keeneland November sale for $185,000, making him the third priciest Street Sense weanling that season.

Notary was a winner second time out at Ellis Park during his juvenile season, conquering a field that included eventual Graded Stakes winner and Preakness S. runner up Midnight Bourbon. He entered the Outbound Ike on two-race winning streak and he´s now a 6-time winner of $239,187.
