Candy Aisle won her second straight stakes race when she held off a fast-closing Tx Women for Arts in the $100,000 Zia Park Princess.

The daughter of Gun Runner was sold for $250,000 out of the Hidden Brook Farm consignment at the 2021 Keeneland November sale.

Candy Aisle settled off fractions of 21.88 seconds for the opening quarter and 44.12 for the half-mile. In the stretch, she got through along the inside and got to the wire before a rolling Tx Women for the Arts. Candy Aisle covered the six furlongs for 2-year-old fillies in 1:09.27.

Felipe Valdez was aboard for trainer Todd Fincher.

Candy Aisle came into the race off win over male rivals in the Manzano at the Downs at Albuquerque. The daughter of Gun Runner races for the partnership of Randy Andrews, Jim Conde, Brad King, and Lee Lewis. Candy Aisle is a half-sister to Offering Plan, a five-time stakes winner with earnings of $891,573. Offering Plan was sold by Hidden Brook at the 2013 Fasig-Tipton October Sale.
